In honor of Guy Fawkes Day, here are some images from one of my all-time favorite comics - V for Vendetta.
A great cover from the initial run of V for Vendetta, where it was one of many serials running in Warrior magazine (the inspiration of the title for the comics/prose anthology I co-publish with Dan Fleming, as well as the name of this blog)

This was the house ad that hooked me. I saw this image and I knew I wanted to read this. David Lloyd's moody artwork is a perfect fit for this story. Alan Moore certainly knows how to play to the strengths of his artistic collaborators.

The wraparound cover for the trade paperback collection of V for Vendetta. A great image that encompasses the totality of V in a single painting. (you never do know much more about the man)

And, David Lloyd's cover for the hardcover that was published leading up to the movie adaptation.

And an interior page that appears to have been photoshopped (I say appears because I suppose it could have been a house ad, though I doubt it). A pivotal moment in the story. If you haven't read this book, seek it out now. You won't be disappointed.
